Kona Royal is the Purpurescen Longberry varietal with a juicy body and flavor notes of dried berries, cherry blossom, and a gentle apple acidity.

This year, we fruit-dried the coffee, to enhance the gentle fruit notes, while complementing the mellow smoothness. Kona Royal has a juicy body with flavor notes of toasted spices, dried berries, cherry blossom, and a gentle green apple acidity. This beautifully balanced cup of coffee is a favorite among coffee club members and the Heavenly Hawaiian Ohana.

With Kona Royal, while the coffee beans produce an incredibly rich flavor, most coffee farmers do not plant this varietal because it is not commercially viable. 

But coffee lovers should not let that stop them from enjoying this majestic cup. Planting these trees in Kona, our unique microclimate produces an earthy and mellow flavor, adding to the rarity of this truly remarkable cup.
